Friends Annual Luncheon 1993

The 1993 Annual Meeting of the Friends was held on Thursday, May 6 at the Academy Officer’s Club. The featured speaker was retired Brigadier General Philip D. Caine. His topic was “Eagles and Our Heritage: A Fragile Link.” General Caine is the author of a newly published book, Eagles of the RAF. His last assignment was as Deputy Commandant for Military Instruction at the Academy. He is a command pilot with more than 4,500 hours of flying and served in Vietnam. He holds M.A and Ph.D. degrees in history from Stanford University.
